A son, Masao, who lost his father when he was young and has lived with his mother, Yoshimi. Masao, who secretly considers his mother to be of the opposite sex, harbors a faint wish, "If only we could live together like this." One night, when Masao comes home, he sees Yoshimi, who is supposed to be late for the class reunion, in her room with him.
