Sumire, a single mother, has carefully raised her daughter Mao, a memento of her late husband. One day, Mao brought a man. She must have thought she was a child until just recently...she can't hide her turmoil. Mao says she is "her lover". Sumire is distraught by her confusion and surprise. The man with her fearless smile stole Mao's eyes and suddenly attacked Sumire.
